Jennifer Woodford has been the Executive Director at the Channel One Regional Food Bank in Rochester for the past eight years, but she'll be leaving that post to assume a new position, president of the Rochester Area Foundation.

She was a guest on Rochester's Good Morning Friday with Rich Peterson and Kim David and talked about the two organizations that essentially go hand in hand.  The food bank serving many customers considered "working poor" because the cost of their housing many cases leaves them short on the food budget.

The philanthropic philosophy of the R.A.F. is dealing with, among other things that very subject, housing..

(Pay no attention to her hands, her headphones were sliding off)

Jennifer said she starts her new job with the Rochester Area Foundation on June 26th, her last day at Channel One is June 12 and the Regional Food Bank is looking for a new director.
