Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Driving conditions are beginning to deteriorate in the Rochester area due to the snow that arrived around 4:00 AM.  

It is expected to be heavy at times through the day and totals could be around 10 inches by the time it tapers off Tuesday night.

Driving conditions deteriorated quickly with the arrival of the snow and there were numerous traffic wrecks and mishaps reported by mid-morning. One in south Rochester affected the morning commute.

Two vehicles collided on northbound Highway 63 near 48th St around 8:00 AM. The driver of one of the vehicles was identified as 30-year-old Kelsey Shoden of Stewartville. She was taken to St Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver was 48-year-old Kimberly Hallman of Austin. She reported no injuries.
