Have you seen the Igloos in Downtown Rochester? They're on the top of one of the buildings on Broadway and they are so cool!

The ground floor is Terza, the Italian restaurant. Take the elevator to the roof and you're at LaVetta. In the summer, its patio is famous (and huge!. In the winter, it is transformed into a winter wonderland.

They're literally super heavy clear vinyl igloos, with zipper doors, a heart, plenty of places to sit, and icicles!

What's the rule about using 'em?  Well, you can reserve 'em for two hours at a time. It's $150, but that's waived if your rink tab is at least $150. Most of 'em seem to hold at least eight people. I think you'll have no trouble hitting the minimum. And then some. Especially in the winter, you know? Remember, have a designated driver.

You don't have to reserve 'em to use, tho. It's first-come-first-serve, but if it turns out that igloo has been reserved, you'll have to give it up when the party arrives.

I hung out in one...surprisingly warm, great view, and you meet the coolest people!
