Teenage Girl Hurt Seriously in Boating Accident

Cleveland Township, MN (Minnesota News Network) – The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office reports a 15-year-old girl has suffered serious injuries in a boating accident.

Marah Elizabeth Bengston was reportedly water boarding behind a boat driven by her father Friday at 6:30 pm. She lost her balance and fell into the water, then was hit by a second boat driven by 20-year-old Richard Jensen of St. Peter.

The teenager was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester where she is being treated for arm and leg injuries.
