Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - A teenager who was charged last year as a suspect in a triple stabbing in  Rochester is now facing a murder charge in Minneapolis.The second degree murder charge was filed against Ahmed Abdirahman Abdi last month. He is accused of killing his 21 year old girlfriend, who was shot in the head April 11th.  He is also accused of threatening a man with a gun the night before in Minneapolis.

Abdi is still facing charges in Olmsted County Court in connection with the stabbings that took place last May at a Rochester apartment complex located near the RCTC campus. Prosecutors are expected to ask the courts to move his cases into adult court.

 Abdi turns 18 in July.
