Teen Boating Accident Victim Improving
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Mankato teenager who was seriously injured in a boating accident Friday continues to recover at St. Mary’s.
Authorities say 15-year-old Marah Bengston suffered leg and arm injuries after she was struck by a boat on East Jefferson Lake around 6 p.m. Friday. Authorities say the teen was wakeboarding behind her father's boat when she lost her balance and fell into the water. She was then struck by a second watercraft.
She was listed in fair condition Monday morning.
