The Rochester City Council voted to go ahead with the DMC proposal at a special meeting last night (Monday).  City Council President Randy Staver called Rich Peterson this morning with the details on that plus the hike in the city sales tax to help cover the city's portion of the project.

City Council President Randy Staver appeared with Rich and KD this morning on Rochester's Good Morning.  He was getting ready to head to St. Paul to testify on behalf of Representative Kim Norton's latest bill regarding the DMC funding and to keep high speed rail a separate issue.  Not what was proposed by Representative Drazkowski of Mazeppa.
