Mayo Clinic previously warned state lawmakers and the governor that approving the bill in its current form could jeopardize billions of dollars worth of investments in Minnesota.
A statement from Mayo says the change is prompted by “consistently low rates of hospitalizations, mortality and community transmission levels of COVID-19 observed at most Mayo Clinic locations.”
