Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A vehicle stop in Rochester on Friday afternoon turned up a sizeable amount of methamphetamine.  

An officer spotted a man who was wanted on a warrant riding in a car near Silver Lake Park. The vehicle was pulled over and the man was taken into custody. He has been identified as 22-year-old Jose Aguilera of Rochester.

He is facing new charges as a result of the drugs found in the car - 311 grams of methamphetamine and 112 grams of marijuana.The meth has a street value of $31,000. Officers also confiscated $3100 in cash found in the vehicle.

The driver of the car, Brandom Villagrana-Urista of Zumbro Falls, was also arrested.
