Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - Rapidly developing thunderstorms moved across southeastern Minnesota Friday afternoon, producing large hail, strong winds and heavy rain in some areas.  

Hail measured at 1 -2 inches was reported in Olmsted and Fillmore counties. There was also a report of golfball-sized hail from - where else? - near the Eastwood golf course. The golf course in Lanesboro reported several downed trees.

Rainfall reports varied, from just .02 of an inch at the Rochester airport to more than an inch in Fillmore County.

There is a slight chance of rain in the Rochester area on Sunday and it will be cool with highs around 70 degrees.
