Stewartville Sex Abuser Given Chance to Avoid Prison
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Stewartville man will spend a year in jail and the next 30 on probation for sexually abusing a young boy over a period of several years.
44-year-old David Wood pleaded guilty to a first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge last month. According to the charges against him, the abuse began in August 2011 when the victim was 11-years-old.
In addition to the jail sentence, Wood was given a 12 year stayed prison sentence that could be imposed if he fails to meet the terms of his probation.
