Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man was arrested Monday in Rochester after being caught driving a stolen vehicle. And it’s suspected he was under the influence of drugs at the time.

An Olmsted County deputy spotted the vehicle on Marion Rd and followed it to Highway 14 where the driver turned to the east. Another deputy assisted in stopping the vehicle and the driver was arrested.

He was identified as 37-year-old Michael Kochen, who is facing several charges including fleeing an officer and driving with a revoked license.

A passenger was arrested on a drug charge after some methamphetamine was found near where he had been sitting.

The vehicle they were in was reported stolen nearly a month ago from a Rochester residence.
