Stewartville Man Accused of Sexually Abusing Young Girl

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man is being sought for sexually assaulting a young girl.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate 24-year-old Majed Ijong, who is facing four counts of criminal sexual conduct.

The criminal complaint filed against Ijon indicates the abuse began in September and continued through Oct 13th at the Stewartville home where he lived.

Investigators became aware of the reported abuse Oct 13th and the girl was interviewed a few days later. It was learned that Ijong was at the local detox center Oct 16th but he was released before he could be taken into custody.

His whereabouts are unknown.
