ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police say a man was fatally shot as he unloaded a car with his teenage daughter.

Police say the shooter approached the 54-year-old man on foot, shot him and then fled. The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. Monday on St. Paul's East Side.

Authorities on Tuesday identified the victim as 54-year-old Htoo Baw of St. Paul. Baw was taken to Regions Hospital, where he died. His daughter was not hurt.

The Star Tribune reports about 18 minutes before the shooting, another man was shot in the arm a few blocks away. The man is expected to live.

A police spokesman says police are treating the two shootings as related. No arrests have been made.
