Rochester, MN ( KROC AM News) - It was the warmest day in Rochester since mid-November, but unlike some other cities in the region, the warmth enjoyed in Rochester on Saturday did not set any records.

The unofficial high temperature at the Rochester Airport was 51-degrees at 4 p.m., which was 6 degrees shy of the record for February 27th set in 1976. It was the warmest it has been in Rochester since November 18th, when the mercury peaked at 62-degrees.

In southeastern Minnesota, the National Weather Service is reporting that Lake City was the hot spot with a high temperature of 61-degrees. High temperatures in the upper 50’s were reported in Zumbro Falls and many other communities in Wabasha County, while highs in the mid-50’s were common in Olmsted and Dodge Counties.
