Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - The Rochester Fire Department was called out Sunday afternoon to deal with a mobile home fire.

A spokesman says it was reported just before 1:15 p.m. at the Oak Terrace Estates Mobile Home Park off Marion Road Southeast at lot 38. The firefighters arrived to find a small amount of smoke and some flames on the exterior of the residence near the living room window. They were told that neighbors had shoveled show onto the fire before fire crews arrived at the scene.

The fire destroyed a portion of the exterior wall and front window of the mobile home. The damage was estimated at about $5000 dollars. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
