Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Rochester police officers and tow truck drivers were busy Wednesday night as a combination of light snow and freezing drizzle created slick roads.

Police responded to 20 traffic mishaps between 5:30 and 8 p.m. More than half happened between 6 and 7 p.m.

One involved a motorist who lost control on the northbound entrance ramp from 12th Street to Highway 52 near Apache Mall. The vehicle left the roadway and came to a stop with its front tires in the retention pond that’s located along the ramp.

No injuries were reported from any of the traffic incidents.
