Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Dodge Center woman has been sentenced to 6 months in jail and 10 years on probation for causing a fatal traffic crash last year.

Shyanne Jensen, who has her 24th birthday on Thursday, earlier admitted to a criminal vehicular homicide charge for driving drunk when she lost control of her car and crashed into a tree along a County Road just north of Dodge Center. Her passenger, 18-year-old Guy Carlson, suffered fatal injuries in the July 8th wreck.

Judge Jody Williamson also gave Jensen a stayed prison term of almost 5 years that could be imposed if she violates the terms of her probation.
