Short Power Outage Affects Numerous RPU Customers
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There was a large power outage in Rochester Tuesday that affected a large number of RPU customers.
RPU spokesman Tony Benson says it happened around 2:10 p.m. and affected a wide area, including the downtown, Country Club Manor and customers in the southwest part of the city.
He blames the outage on a malfunction at a substation that was corrected in less than a minute.
