Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)  - A second man has pleaded guilty to participating in an armed robbery in Rochester earlier this year. 19-year-old Andres Green admitted to a felony count of simple robbery and is scheduled to be sentenced in July.

He was suspected of being the robber who brandished a gun during the February 5th holdup at the Cold Stone Creamery along South Broadway but wasn’t arrested until a Kasson teenager recently entered into a plea agreement for his involvement in the crime and provided investigators with his name. A few days later, an off-duty officer was placing an order at a local coffee business and recognized Green as one of the employees of the shop.

Last year, Green pleaded guilty to charges connected to a drive-by shooting and faced a recommended prison sentenced, but was placed on probation after the judge handling the case found he was amenable to probation and “showed remorse” for his actions.

The other defendant in the case, 18-year-old Keshawn Howell, also admitted to a simple robbery charge and is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
