School Bus, Pickup Collide Near Potsdam
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -The Minnesota State Patrol and Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a crash involving a Plainview-Elgin-Millville school bus and a pickup truck.
It happened Wednesday afternoon in rural Olmsted County.The Sheriff’s office says the driver of the bus pulled out in front of the pickup at the intersection of County Road 11 and 125th Street NE near Potsdam around 4 p.m. A 15 year old on the bus was taken to St. Mary’s where he was treated for a head injury and released. There were three other students on the bus but they were not hurt. The driver of the bus was 64 year old Dixie Schmidt. She wasn’t hurt.
23 year old Jami Rabehl was driving the pickup and she was taken to St. Mary’s for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
