Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede will conduct an annual tradition he started several years ago on Wednesday.

He will spend most of the working day visiting city employees at their offices and work sites.

The first stop was at 7:30 at the Public Works building. The final stop will be around 3 p.m. at fire station 4.

The mayor - or Santa Brede - is planning a total of 16 stops.

According to the mayor’s office, he will be escorted in his sleigh pulled by the Public Works Department throughout the day.
