Rural Fillmore County Church Wiped Out by Fire
Preston, MN (KROC AM News) - An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s Office is looking for the cause of a fire that destroyed a rural church in Fillmore County this morning.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Department says the fire at the Henrytown Lutheran Church was reported just before 3 a.m. and the building was engulfed in flames when a deputy arrived at the scene a short time later.
The church, which was built in the late 1800’s, is located about 2-miles north of Canton.
