Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - Rochester’s popular Thursdays on First is kicking off a new season.

Thousands are expected to turn out for the weekly event that runs through the end of August. Organized by the Rochester Downtown Alliance, it includes more than 100 art, craft and food vendors along with  live entertainment.

The lunchtime entertainment is offered 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., while the evening music performances are scheduled to run 5 - 7 p.m. on stages in the Peace Plaza and in the 300 block of 1st Avenue Southwest.
