Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) -  A Rochester teenager who recently pleaded guilty to being involved in a shooting and attempted robbery in Zumbrota is facing a new charge.

According to the criminal complaint, 17-year-old Dantel Ruth was identified as one of several males who assaulted a female in Rochester in October.

The victim had just left a party and was waiting in a car when she was assaulted. She told police the attackers took two phones and other items when they left. Ruth was charged this week with one count of 1st degree aggravated robbery.

He is awaiting sentencing in the other case that happened in December. Ruth and three others were charged with trying to steal marijuana from a man who was shot in the arm during a struggle.
