Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A Rochester teenager had to walk half a mile to his home without his shoes Thursday night after he was beaten and robbed.

The teen told police he was riding in a car with some acquaintances when they stopped in the area of 40th St and Carol Lane NW and began assaulting him. The teen says they took several dollars in cash and his shoes and threw him out of the car. Temperatures at the time were in the upper 30’s.

Police say the teen did not seek medical treatment for his injuries.

At last report, the suspects were still being sought.
