Rochester Seeking Police Chief Candidates
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Applicants are now being formally sought by the city of Rochester for its Chief of Police position.
Current Chief Roger Peterson announced in November he would retire April 25th.
The city posted the opening on its website Feb 1st. The post says the position will be open until filled but “applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by February 23, 2018.”
The pay range included in the post is $128,697 - $183,854.
The notice says the Police Dept. ”currently consists of 139 sworn officers, 68 civilian staff, and has a 2018 budget of $30.3 million.”
