Rochester Public Transit Seeking Input on Route 19

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Rochester commuters who use Rochester Public Transit Route 19 are being asked for their input on its future.

RPT has scheduled a public meeting Monday at Christ Community Church (4400 55th St. NW) from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.  RPT will have a  staff member there to answer questions and take comments.

Three options are on the table:

1 -  Return Route 19 to its original route path prior to the 55th St project         

2 -  Keep the Route 19 detour as its permanent path

3 -  Redesign Route 19 as a hybrid between the original and detour paths

Interested persons who are unable to attend the public meeting are invited to visit rptride.com to review the alternatives and weigh in using the public comment form provided.
