Rochester, MN  (KROC-AM News) - A man who fled police in Owatonna earlier this week was apprehended in Rochester Wednesday and now he is in bigger trouble because he had a significant amount of methamphetamine in his possession when he was caught.

Captain John Sherwin says police in Owatonna were pretty sure 32 year old Manuel Hinojosa had driven to Rochester after his getaway. Sherwin says he was spotted at a local auto dealership and taken into custody.

When officers found he had some methamphetamine in his possession, his hotel room was searched and even more was discovered.  Sherwin says a total of 211 grams was confiscated.

He says it has a street value of more than $20,000.
