Rochester, MN (KROC AM News)  - Rochester police investigators are looking into the suspected drug overdose deaths of two people, including one man found dead at Apache Mall.  

Police Captain John Sherwin says a security guard at the mall found a 25-year-old Chatfield man dead in the stall of a public restroom around 7:15 p.m. Monday night. Sherwin says officers found syringes and other evidence of drug use at the scene.

The other case involved a 35-year-old woman found dead in her apartment in the 1100 block of 2nd Street NW around 4 p.m. Monday. Sherwin says she may have been dead for a number of days. He says syringes and other signs of drug use were found in the apartment.

Sherwin says it’s not known at this time if heroin was involved in either death.
