Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who was wanted on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant was apprehended over the weekend after a four-hour long standoff with police.

A patrol officer spotted 42-year-old Carlos Blair driving a car near the Seneca Foods canning plant around 3:00 AM Saturday. When Blair noticed the officer following him, he parked the car and ran to a nearby apartment where he refused to come out.

Because officers were told Blair may have a gun, the department’s Emergency Response Unit was called to the scene.  Blair finally surrendered around 7:30 AM. A handgun was found in the apartment.
