Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man showed up at St Mary’s ER around 5:45 Friday morning for treatment of several stab wounds.

Police say the 23-year-old had six non-life threatening leg, hand and arm injuries. He was also cut behind one of his ears.

The man told officers he was giving a friend a ride home when the two got into a heated argument. The victim stopped his car and told the friend to get out. When he refused, the victim got out and opened the passenger side door and again ordered the man to leave. That’s when the victim was attacked. He called another friend for a ride to the ER.

18 old Zakariya Ali was arrested Friday night without incident and has been charged with 2nd degree assault.
