Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who was charged with a shooting at Oak Terrace Estates along Marion Road last year has been sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Police say the shooting happened November 17th when two shots were fired at an occupied vehicle that was parked at the mobile home park. The driver wasn’t hurt. He didn’t tell police about the shooting until two days later - after he had been arrested on a warrant. The man told police he did not report the shooting because he knew he was being sought. He identified the shooter as 30 year old Miguel Garza, who was later arrested and pleaded guilty last month.
