Rochester Man Dies After Exiting Moving Vehicle
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly incident that occurred Wednesday night near the Highway 52/Highway 63 interchange in Rochester.
A preliminary State Patrol report indicates 27-year-old David Valdez of Rochester was in a vehicle that was traveling north on Highway 52 when he exited the vehicle on his own. Valdez was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Rochester Police Department responded to the scene to assist the State Patrol. A spokesman indicated the man may have jumped out of the vehicle while arguing with his wife, who was driving the SUV.
The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m.
