Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man pleaded guilty Monday to taking part in an assault last year that sent the victim to the hospital.

As part of a plea deal, 28 year old Jimmie Gaston pled to a 3rd degree assault charge. He will be sentenced in August. Cases against three other men charged in the December assault at a Rochester residence are pending.

The victim told police he was beaten by a group of men who described themselves as members of the Gangster Disciples street gang.  He says he was assaulted for half an hour and had to be treated at the ER.
