Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to a charge connected to a hold-up at a business in the Crossroads Shopping Center during a bomb scare last fall.

39-year-old Chad Hatton admitted to a second degree aggravated robbery charge during a hearing in Olmsted County court on Thursday. He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 29th.

Hatton was spotted about a block away from the Fish and Pets Store when Rochester police responded to a 911 call from the business after it was robbed at knife point the afternoon of November 4th. The robbery occurred while police were busy evacuating much of the shopping center because a specially trained police dog had alerted on a car driven by a man who was involved in a bomb threat incident at the Twin Cities airport earlier the same day.

A bomb squad and later determined there were no explosives in the vehicle.
