Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester City Council will hold its final scheduled meeting of the year Monday evening. Several public hearings are on the agenda.

One is to take input and then a vote on the proposed Alatus project near St. Marys Hospital. It was approved last week by the DMCC Board, which also okayed a request for $10 ½ million in public assistance.

The council will also adopt the city’s 2017 budget and property tax levy.

And this will serve as the final meeting for Sandra Means, who was elected to the council in 2003. The 6th ward council member decided not to seek another term this year. She will be succeeded by Annalissa Johnson at the council’s first meeting next month.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
