Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The average composite score posted by graduating high school seniors in Minnesota this year on the ACT college entrance exams was 22.7, which remained the highest in the nation for the 10th straight year. The national average was 21.
The statewide average score was down slightly from last year, and the results also show Minnesota’s achievement gap problem persists. In the Rochester School District, the average ACT composite score was 24.5, which was down two-tenths of a point from last year, but well above both the state and national averages.
