Reports indicate the Minnesota Twins have added some power to their lineup for the 2019 season.

Yahoo Sport's Jeff Passan tweeted out today that the Twins signed 38-year-old slugger Nelson Cruz to a one year, $14-million deal for the 2019 season, and a club option for 2020.

Nelson Cruz has played the last four seasons with the Seattle Mariners, in 2018 he hit .256 with 37 home runs and 97 RBI. Cruz is a career .274 hitter with 360 home runs and 1,011 RBI. Cruz has also spent time with the Texas Rangers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Baltimore Orioles.

Cruz has been an All-Star the last two seasons and has made the trip to the mid-summer classic six times.
