Champaign, IL (Learfield sports) -- Golden Gopher women's basketball star Rachel Banham of Lakeville knocked down ten baskets from three-point range en route to a career-high 39 point effort as Minnesota beat Illinois last night, 106-75.

Banham set a program record with the ten three-pointers and also helped the Gophers tie a Big Ten Conference team record with 19 total three-point field goals as a team.

Carlie Wagner of New Richland and Mikayla Bailey of Maple Grove each added three long-distance shots to help the record-setting victory. In all, six Gophers scored in double figures.

Minnesota is 10-and-4 on the season overall and 2-and-1 in the Big Ten. The Gophers host Michigan on Sunday at Williams Arena at 2 P-M. We'll have the game on KROC AM beginning at 1:30 with the  pre-game show. The Wolverines beat Iowa last night.
