Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman has been sentenced to 10 years probation for taking thousands of dollars out of her grandmother’s bank account after she was granted power of attorney.

36-year-old Robin Vale earlier entered into a plea agreement that will erase her guilty plea to a charge of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult if she successfully completes her probation.

Vale was accused of taking nearly $9,000 from her grandmother’s bank account after the elderly woman was placed in a nursing home 2 years ago.
