Prison Time for Second Sex Assault Conviction
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A sexual assault that followed a Fourth of July party last summer has resulted in an over 10 ½ year prison sentence for a Rochester man.
51-year-old Michael Kahn was sentenced Monday to 130 months in prison for his conviction on a third degree criminal sexual conduct charge and a felony burglary count.
The victim told police she went home after attending a neighborhood gathering in Stewartville and later woke up to find Kahn had broken into her home and was sexually assaulting her. The 42-year-old woman informed investigators that she recognized Kahn as the father of a neighbor who had also been at the holiday party.
Kahn’s criminal history includes a 2002 conviction for a sexual assault that resulted in a stayed prison sentence.
