Hastings, MN (Minnesota News Network) - A 25-year-old Burnsville mother has been sentenced to six years in prison in connection with the death of her four-year-old son in 2013.

Sha'reese Miller pled guilty earlier this year to manslaughter. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled that Miller's son, Key'ontay Miller Peterson, died as a result of blunt force injuries to his abdomen and chest and he had multiple bruises on his head, face, arms, chest and back, as well as eight broken ribs. Earlier this month. Miller's boyfriend, William Warr was sentenced to 30 years in prison for Key'ontay's murder.
