MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Will Rains ran for a 75-yard touchdown with 2:46 to play and Eden Prairie rallied to win its fourth straight Class 6A title with a 28-27 victory over Totino-Grace Friday night.

It's the school's 10th title since 1996. The Eagles have won 30 games in a row.

Rains sprinted to his left before racing untouched down the sideline. He finished with 230 yards rushing.

Lance Benick had a 25-yard touchdown run with 1:39 left to get Totino-Grace within one, but the 2-point pass fell incomplete.

Kez Flomo ran for 152 yards and a touchdown and Ben Mezzenga scored twice for Totino-Grace.

Trailing 21-7, Rains scored on a 57-yard fourth down run in the third quarter. Blake Cashman had a 24-yard, fourth-down reception to tie the game with 8:38 to play.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — C.J. Schwintek ran for 146 yards and a touchdown as Becker beat DeLaSalle 24-6 Friday in the Prep Bowl to win the Class 4A state football championship.

Dawson Brown had three interceptions for Becker (12-1), which won its second school title.

Billy Hart threw for 194 yards and one touchdown for the Islanders (11-2), who turned the ball over six times.

Michael Veldman, who threw for 163 yards, and Matt Conzemius connected on a 19-yard score for an 18-0 Becker lead early in the third quarter. Beau Pauly scored from 3 yards out later in the frame to make it 24-0.

A 4-yard run by Veldman gave the Bulldogs a 6-0 lead in the first quarter. Schwintek doubled that lead with a 13-yard touchdown run in the second.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A 10-yard touchdown pass in double overtime gave Holdingford the Class 2A state title Friday in a 20-18 win over BOLD.

It's the school's first title since 1981.

On the Prep Bowl's game-winning play, Holdingford running back Nathan Brinker looked to run but threw to quarterback Austin Gerads. Matt Messman scored on the 2-point conversion.

Holdingford (11-3) tied the game as time expired on Gerads' 10-yard run, but their extra point kick was blocked.

BOLD's Brad Wolff scored in the first overtime for a 12-6 lead, but the extra point hit the upright. Brinker then scored to tie the game again Holdingford, but Holdingford missed the 2-point conversion.

Ben Steffel scored from 7 yards out for BOLD (12-2) in double overtime. Quarterback Lane Stadther fumbled on a 2-point conversion.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Michael Stejskal threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns as Grand Meadow won its second straight state football title by beating Edgerton/Ellsworth 48-0 in the 9-Man Championship at the Prep Bowl.

Landon Jacobson rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns and Cody Ojulu had a pair of touchdown receptions for Grand Meadow (14-0), which shut out five of its final six opponents.

Jake Post threw four interceptions for Edgerton/Ellsworth (12-2), which was held to 181 total yards.

Leading 20-0 late in the second quarter, Stejskal and Ojulu connected on a 56-yard score, and after an interception by Stejskal, he and Blake Olson connected for a 58-yard touchdown to make it 33-0.

The Superlarks outscored their opponents 470-32 in the opening two quarters this year.
