Powerball Jumps to Half a Billion $$$$
Undated (KROC AM News) -The jackpot for Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing has grown again, this time to an estimated $500 million.The cash value is $306 million.
The grand prize was at $400 million after the Saturday night drawing failed to produce a big winner. It grew to $450 million Tuesday due to a surge in ticket sales. Another $50 million was added to the grand prize Wednesday morning as ticket sales remain brisk.
Meanwhile, there were no big winners in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, increasing that lottery game’s jackpot to $165 million.
