EDINA, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a fatal shooting at a home in Prior Lake led to a police chase in the southern Minneapolis suburbs that ended with officers shooting one of the suspects.

Hennepin County Sheriff Richard Stanek says the other two suspects were caught early Wednesday after their car became disabled near an exit to Highway 169 in Edina.

Authorities say the third suspect ran away and fired at police. Two Eden Prairie police officers returned fire, striking the suspect.

The Star Tribune reports Stanek said the wounded man is being treated at a hospital, but would not say if the suspect will survive. No officers were hurt.

The home shooting was reported just after 2 a.m. A man who had been shot multiple times died at a Shakopee hospital.
