Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man described by police as a significant drug dealer has entered into a plea deal to settle charges stemming from a raid on his home in April. 44-year-old Terrance Burkhalter admitted to a first-degree drug sale charge and a felony count for illegal possession of a firearm, while prosecutors dropped an aggravated drug sale charge.

The raid on his residence in the 500 block of 36th Street Southwest resulted in the seizure of 19 pounds of marijuana, a pound of cocaine, 2 ounces of heroin, and 400 doses of Oxycodone. When the raid was first reported, a police department official said investigators believed some of the drugs were supplied by a Mexican cartel.

Burkhalter is scheduled to be sentenced on September 17th.
