Nashville, TN (Learfield Wire Services) - Two first-period goals gave the Nashville Predators an early lead they wouldn't surrender in a 3-2 win over Minnesota Saturday.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Wild. Nashville was up 3-0 when Zach Parise ended the shutout with a second-period slap shot, his 11th goal of the season. Jason Zucker scored in the middle of the third period to make it 3-2, but the Wild weren't able to tie it up. Parise has scored in seven straight games.
