Mikael Granlund also scored and had two assists for the Wild, and Devan Dubnyk had 29 saves for his 17th win of the season.

Cam Atkinson and Boone Jenner scored for Columbus, and Anton Forsberg also finished with 29 saves.

Parise's empty-netter with 56 seconds gave him his fourth career three-goal game and made it 3-1.

Jenner cut the deficit to one 41 seconds later, a goal that was challenged by the Wild but upheld.

Granlund won the ensuing face off, and the puck ended up in Columbus' empty net for the final tally of the game 2 seconds later.
