Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Board holds its Truth in Taxation hearing Thursday at the Government Center.

During the meeting, staff will present the county’s proposed 2016 budget and property tax levy and take public comment.

The board is considering a $90 million levy, which is an increase of $4.4 million or 5.2 percent over the current levy of $85.6 million.

The board will set the formal levy when it adopts the 2016 budget December 15th.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
